Henry sets French record

Henry sets the scoring record for France today with his two goals notched against Lithuania in the second half of today’s Euro 2008 qualifier. Who did he beat? None other than UEFA president Michel Platini, the former French midfielder with the vision of a cat. Meow! But definitely an accomplishment for the Barcelona player who has acclimated with the Spanish side. This is what his ego needed as his former side Arsenal sits at the top of the EPL after his departure. The 30 year-old still has some years in him to add to this record of 43 goals for his national side. Congratulations Henry!
